Moved by his faith, Jared joined the Metro Atlanta corps in 2007 to serve others. His teaching and leadership experience have helped him pursue a career in youth ministry.

José grew up in a similar community where he taught and held his students to high standards. His belief that all children deserve an excellent education continues to guide his career in education and nonprofit leadership.

Following the corps, Rebecca joined the Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response (STAR) organization, where she spent 10 years focused on education and sexual violence prevention. She reflects on how her work ties to TFA's mission and values.

Angelina’s experience as a first-generation college graduate, teacher, and school administrator fuels her belief that access to excellent education is a right, not a privilege. With over a decade of experience working in schools and the education field, she’s dedicated her career to building coalitions, developing leaders, and creating impactful programming that opens doors for all learners. Angelina started her journey as an educator in 2012 as a Teach For America Corps Member in Oklahoma City.
