Stephanie (she/her/hers) is a Manager, Writer and Editor, and will focus on ideating, reporting and writing stories about the people and communities working to dismantle barriers to equity in education. She comes to us from The Baltimore Sun, where she was a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion reporter producing bilingual and multimedia stories for Latine/x communities. Her work has also appeared in The Independent, Associated Press, Washington Post, GroundTruth Project and PBS NewsHour. Before the world of journalism, Stephanie had stints as an English teacher in Madrid, a refugee education caseworker in Phoenix, and in many kitchens and offices.
