Shaped by experiencing inequity as a student and corps member, Elaine now focuses on strategic and innovative consulting to help companies be more equitable and sustainable.

Hanseul Kang became Washington, D.C.’s State Superintendent of Education in March 2015. She previously served as Chief of Staff for the Tennessee Department of Education. A seasoned leader and former high school teacher, she reorganized and restructured the department to reflect strategic priorities and created a more streamlined budget process that allowed for improved personnel decision-making and better use of resources. 

Denise Terrazas joined Teach For America to help improve the educational outcomes in her home state of New Mexico.

Sunny Liu currently works in the New Mexico Legislature, but got his start with Teach For America.

Before earning her master's degree and joining Deloitte, Alys Seamans got her start at Teach For America.

Blanca Adriana Ontiveros taught bilingual special education, organized teachers to advocate for inclusive education policies, and mentored immigrant youth activists. Now, she empowers youth across the country to mobilize during elections and make their voices heard.
