After transitioning from the corps, Noemi spent four years on a small island in the Caribbean, where she taught and was the principal of a small pre-k to 6th-grade school. Upon her return to the United States in 2007, she joined staff as a program director on the Bay Area Team. After three years on the Bay team, she transitioned to the national Program Continuum team to partner with regions in support of their corps members.
Noemi now serves as the Chief Learning Officer for Teach For America. She lives with her husband, Michael, and two children, Vivian and Calvin, in Concord, New Hampshire.
