Michael Nguyen is the Executive Director of Teach For America Milwaukee. Michael moved to Milwaukee after joining the first cohort of TFA Milwaukee corps members in 2009. Formerly, Michael managed Admissions, Communications, and Fund Development as Chief of Staff at Carmen Schools of Science and Technology, a network of five public elementary, middle, and high schools. 

Michael previously served as the Senior Managing Director for Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America Milwaukee, principal at St. Anthony Middle School and a teacher at St Anthony School and Milwaukee Public Schools. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He earned a M.Ed. from Marquette University and his Wisconsin state licensure in Education Administration and Curriculum and Instruction from Alverno College.

Most importantly, Michael and his wife, Bria, have three children. They reside in the Enderis Park neighborhood in Milwaukee.
