Kaili was a 2017 participant in the Teach For America Accelerate Fellowship before starting her senior year at Cornell University. At Cornell, Kaili served as the purchase funds chair of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity and participated in student government and College Mentors for Kids, among other campus activities.
Kaili graduated with a B.A. in industrial and labor relations, and a minor in law and society, and inequality studies.
“The Accelerate Fellowship opened my eyes to the disturbing and deep inequities pervading our education system today. Though demanding at times, the program’s fast pace and wide reach laid the foundation for the work I do each day as a 4th grade teacher at a Title I school. Working along like-minded, passionate, and intelligent-beyond-belief people that summer fueled me to understand my role in leveling the education playing field. Accelerate is the intellectual summer camp you never knew existed.”
